I don’t really love the uniformed marching bands in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The balloons and the floats are a hell of a lot more entertaining. A proud minority on the internet would disagree, but I think most of us really watch it for those wacky smiling balloons and those corny gaudy floats.
